Introductions
Please introduce yourself. Please include your classification, major, when you will be student teaching, your level of technology and anything of interest that you would like to share.
Greetings, my name is Pete Kesselring and I am, like almost every other guy ED major, a social studies major. This is my senior year so I will be student teaching this upcoming fall. As for my level of technology, I'd say I'm okay. Other than that, I'm from the Pocono Mts and I play hockey.
My name is Katie McCunney. I'm a junior in the Secondary Ed program majoring in Math. Hopefully I'll be student teaching by the fall of 2012. I'm very comfortable with technology.
My name is Peter Balliet. I am an elementary/special education major. As far as technology I am pretty basic but do use it everyday. I am not sure when I will be student teaching.
My name Is Nicole, and I've been at Temple University for longer than I expected (I'm going on my fifth year here, and plan to have at least one more). I'm technically a senior, and I'm an Early Childhood Education major.
Hello, I am Inma (Maria) Diaz. My major is Secondary Ed. Spanish. Spanish is my native language. Hopefully I will be able to do some cool stuff with all the things we learn at class.
Hi! My Name is Malikah Lewis. I am a Secondary Education- English major. Next fall I should be student teaching and I can't Wait! Technology and I aren't the best of friends :(
My name is Ace and I am a Secondary Ed Math major. I have no idea as to when I will be student teaching. I am also fairly comfortable with my knowledge of technology.
Hello! My name is Bridget Farraday. I am a junior studying Secondary Education & History. I do not know when I will be student teaching yet. I am proficient in technology and know various programs such a word, powerpoint, adobe photoshop and illustrator, and somewhat trained in flash. I would like to acquire more skill for excel, though. I have taught in front of a classroom before once, and spent all summer being a camp counselor I have experience working with students of all ages.
Hello its me again I dont think i did it right the first time so here it goes. I am a Secondary Ed Social Studies major. Technology and I are good friends. I like long walks on the beach and around campus lol. But anywhoo get to know me.
All, My name is Jack Bolton and I am a secondary Social Studies major. I feel comfortable using technology but I have much room for improvement. I have just transferred to Temple as a Junior and I hope to student teach in the Spring of 2013. My interests include sports, music, and exercise.
Hello! My name is Bob. I'm a Secondary English Education major, I'm pretty good with technology (I've mostly used Windows and Microsoft Office from a few years ago, but I'm getting better with Mac OSX and newer versions of Office). I'm not exactly sure when I'll be student teaching, but hopefully soon. I've never had a blog before. However, I do have a Twitter, but I mostly use it to say random things. You're more than welcome to follow me on Twitter, but please follow at your own risk. Anyway, I hail from Levittown, PA, and I take the train to school. I like baseball and music, but more the latter than the former.
My name is Alaina Jamison. I am majoring in Secondary Education & English. I will probably (hopefully) be student teaching in the spring. I am not good with technology, but that is probably because I don't use it very often. Hopefully I can survive this class!
I'm Seth Laskin, I'm a Secondary Education/ Social Studies Major. I do not like using technology when I am teaching. I will be student teaching next fall and have some experience in front of classrooms.
Hey there, I'm Lindsey McNeil. I'm a senior studying Elementary Special Education. I have observed in classrooms for one semester, had my lang. arts, math, and science practicums, and am now taking my spec. ed. practicum. I plan to student teach this coming spring semester.
Hi my name is Kristi Sadow and I am an Early Childhood Education Major. After undergrad, I plan to go onto Grad School in the Counseling Psychology field. I also want to work at Teach for America and either stay in Philadelphia or go to Austin, Texas. I plan to hopefully start student teaching in Fall 2012. I have had classroom experience working in a daycare center and at a summer camp teaching children art from ages kindergarten through fifth grade.
Hello my name is Ashley and I am a secondary ed major for environmental science. I have been observing classrooms for almost 3 years and have teaching experience for a first grad class during practicum. I plan to intern this summer at outdoor science schools in california and be student teaching in another 2 years.
Hi, my name is Vania Luu and I am an Elementary and Special Ed major. I have taught a few lessons in front of the classroom before. Hopefully, I will be student teaching in the upcoming Spring semester. I would like to say that technology and I do not always see eye to eye...
